Guatemala

Summer Trip

Join us in June for an experience of entering into the lives of our neighbors on the margins in Guatemala. Come with us to hear their stories, visit their schools, education centers, tutoring programs, and more, pilgrimage to sites and stories for the holy women and men of Guatemala, pray with the communities we meet, and share in a transformative ministry of presence and mission.

Program includes:

  • Encounter and relationship building with individuals, families, and communities

  • Orientation to social, political, and economic realities surrounding immigration

  • Daily reflections and faith formation activities

  • On-the-ground training in missionary discipleship

  • Ongoing support and consultation before, during, and after the immersion

Participant requirements:

  • Participants must provide own transportation to and from Guatemala

  • Accommodations and meals are provided

  • Current Passport with expiration date after final day of trip

  • Proof of complete Covid-19 vaccination

  • Donation of approximately $925 per person suggested to cover trip costs (subject to change)

  • Non-refundable deposit of $100 due upon acceptance

  • Limited scholarships are available for those unable to make the full donation
