2025 EASTER SEASON: Reflection Guides & Resources Available Now!
Share the Joy of Mission
Every year during the summer a group of missionaries mostly from California leave their everyday lives to go on a treasure hunt for the sacred presence of God in our own country, among the poor in the San Francisco Tenderloin District.
Like the 70 disciples that Jesus sent ahead of him to the towns and villages he intended to visit and like pilgrims that travel to distant lands, this group of Missionary Disciples discovers God in their own back yard and returns rejoicing, eager to tell their stories and to encourage others to go and see how God is present in the lives and hearts of the people of the Tenderloin. These are their stories.
The Maryknoll Mission Immersion Program provides parish ministers,DREs and catechists with a unique mission experience.
