Inspired by the African philosophy of Ubuntu—“I am because we are”— we are transformed by the power of community, interconnectedness, and mutual support. Each week we’ll pause together to reflect on the upcoming Sunday Gospel and share how it speaks to our daily lives as missionary disciples. Come whenever you’re able—no pressure to make every week.
2025 Maryknoll Student Essay Contest
Students in grades 6–12 who are currently enrolled in a Catholic school, religious education program, or youth ministry program are eligible to win cash prizes. Pope Leo XIV is a “Pope of the Americas” whose life was shaped by different cultures. Share a story of being changed by an encounter that bridged cultures and revealed God’s love.Â
