On Wednesday October 23rd we welcomed 150 students and teachers from the Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of N.Y. as they held their High School Pro-Life Leadership Day here at the Society Center.  The group was here from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.  Br. John Blazo, Fr. Phil Erbland, Fr. Mike Snyder and Fr. Larry Radice served as hosts.  Mass was celebrated by Bishop Gerald T. Walsh in the main chapel at 11:25 a.m.  The bishop praised Maryknoll stating that this is a very special place for the U.S. Catholic Church as it has been the training site for over 100 years for so many men and women who have forged into mission overseas to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
